I began working with credit.com in April 2008, working closely with the engineering team as a member of the technical staff, yet also ‘owning’ the front-end as the lead front-end developer. I also work closely with the product manager, and the director of communications, performing a variety of design and coding work (XHTML/XML/XSL/CSS/JavaScript).

I built and designed the template for this site as a side project, though it is now handled by another developer who works on it full-time.

Our design team was in a crunch when our deadline for this site was approaching, so my boss asked me to design the site for them. Which means I was the sole developer and designer for this project. I received the text for each page in word format, and grabbed the green part of the logo from software2007.com. I created the rest of the graphic elements, including the buttons, the navigation, and the textual part of the logo. Designing with code in mind made the site easier to build, and is reflected in the design by having a bit more of a systematic and direct look-and-feel, which works well in the corporate environment.

I built this site for a friend of a friend. They sent me Photos, and a PDF of the pages as they wanted them. I added my feedback, we talked, and then I built the site. I think it would’ve turned out better as an HTML/JavaScript project, but they insisted on Flash.
